Indiana Pacers All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton will not play in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night because of a left hamstring injury, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports' Jeff Zillgitt.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren't yet authorized to speak publicly on the injury.
The Celtics are up two games to zero in the best-of-seven series, with Game 3 in Indianapolis.
Haliburton was injured in the third quarter of Game 2 and he also missed 10 games earlier this season with a left hamstring injury.
Haliburton scored 25 points in Game 1, but struggled in Game 2 against Boston, scoring 10 points.
